HQFit Bangor is more than a gym — it's a community. On Sunday 11 October we're putting that community to the test, with our final open Hyrox sim of 2026.

A HYROX Affiliated Gym, HQFit is bringing the full format to its own floor: 8 runs, 8 stations, one clock. Same distance for everyone, no shortcuts. Whether you're chasing a competitive time or taking on your first sim, you'll do it with the HQFit crowd roaring you through every station.

Divisions

Female Solo, Male Solo, Female Doubles,  Male Doubles, Mixed Doubles

Enter as a solo or take it on with a partner in doubles. Solos cover the full course alone. Doubles split the work — you and your partner share the stations and both run every leg. Hyrox official rules apply & time penalties MAY be added.

Fully chip timed

Every entrant is chip timed by Elite Timing, with live results onscreen as you race, full splits printed out and  photo booth with your finish time.

More than a race day

This isn't turn up, race, go home. Banging tunes from our DJ right through the day, food vendors on site, fresh fruit juices to order, proper coffee, and the clothing vendor. And when you're done, the barbecue is on us — free for every entrant.

About HQFit Bangor

HQFit began with a training partnership. Adam took Akeel on as a client, and what grew out of it — trust, relentless drive, a shared obsession with getting better — turned into a bigger idea: a gym that felt like somewhere you belonged, not just somewhere you trained. That idea opened its doors as HQFit Bangor. From strength work to the classes nobody wants to miss, the whole place runs on one principle: challenge yourself, surrounded by people who want you to succeed.
