RaceReg.co.uk is operated by RaceReg. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect: When you register for an event, we collect your name, email address, gender, date of birth, running club, t-shirt size, emergency contact details, and any medical information you provide. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details.
Why we collect it: Your personal details are used to process your event registration, assign your race number, calculate your age category, and contact you with event information. Emergency contact and medical information is collected solely for your safety on race day and is shared only with race-day medical personnel if required.
Who we share it with: Your registration details are shared with the event organiser for the purpose of managing the event. We do not sell your data to third parties. Registration is processed through Ticket Tailor (tickettailor.com), payment processing is handled by Stripe (stripe.com), and email communications are sent via Resend (resend.com). Each of these services processes your data in accordance with their own privacy policies and UK GDPR requirements.
How long we keep it: We retain your registration data for up to 12 months after the event for results and record-keeping purposes. Emergency contact and medical data is deleted within 30 days of the event.
Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email info@racereg.co.uk.
Cookies: We use essential cookies to enable the registration and payment process. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
